Case Study

Red Sky Foundation

The Red Sky Foundation is a non-profit organisation that funds life-saving research for babies, children, and adults who are born with or who later develop heart conditions. Sergio Petrucci, the company's founder, wanted to produce a number of digital illustrations featuring its mascot, "Miss Beats," for various occasions, such as the Great North Run, summer, Halloween, and New Year's.

"I joined Sunderland Creatives Agency to gain more experience working on briefs with real life clients. It also fits in well around my studies as a part-time student. It has been great to work with clients in the local community, and the illustrations for the Red Sky Foundation will be used for their marketing and social media, which is exciting to know my work will be in the public eye."

Emily Butterfield, MA Design Student

After an initial meeting with Red Sky Foundation, Sunderland Creatives Agency commissioned MA Design student Emily Butterfield to work on the illustrations.

Emily created five illustrations which are now used widely by the charity on their website, social media platforms, marketing materials and even the charity’s van!

"I needed some local help on a few projects and Emily has been, and is continuing to be, a great asset for our charity. Especially as a charity, Sunderland Creatives Agency has provided great value for money and I will certainly continue to use the service and recommend to our contacts."
