University of Sunderland

Sunderland Creatives Agency commissioned design student, Liam Reynolds, to create a vinyl mural in the newly relocated Student Union within the Prospect Building.

The University wanted to bring the space to life with an SU focussed mural that would feature relevant quotes and highlights from the team, and artwork that would include local landmarks of the wider city.

Liam developed several concepts to reflect the client’s needs, with space on the design to help students locate their way around the SU, including signs to the lecture theatres.

Working with Sunderland Creatives Agency on the SU Mural was an enriching experience that advanced my professional practice and industry exposure. The seamless process facilitated by the agency team across projects has eased the initial challenges of gaining experience. Witnessing the project come to life on a large scale has solidified my aspirations within the design industry.

If you are ready to join the agency, the first step is to complete the onboarding pathway. This will take you step by step through the process of giving the University all the information needed to successfully add you to our talent pool.

It's important that you complete the pathway, as you won't be able to work for the agency without doing this. The pathway takes approximately 30 minutes in total to complete and you can start and pick up where you left off later. Once completed, you will receive a payment for doing this.
