Christmas Cards

Students from Sunderland Creatives Agency put their creative talents to work during the 2025 festive season, producing bespoke Christmas cards for a range of clients.

The projects offered students the opportunity to apply their artistic skills to real-world briefs while contributing to the community, resulting in some outstanding pieces of seasonal artwork.

One of the standout commissions was a card created for JJ Hardy & Sons, a long-established, precision engineering specialist based in Hartlepool.

The student was tasked with reimagining a historic oil painting of the original JJ Hardy factory, which was created in 2006 to celebrate the company’s 150th anniversary. Their final design is a stunning festive interpretation that pays tribute to the firm’s proud British heritage and commitment to engineering excellence.

The Christmas card projects not only demonstrated the students’ professionalism and creativity but also highlighted the value of connecting emerging artists with local organisations. Through collaborations like this, students gain invaluable experience, and clients receive unique work that artistically captures their business.
